Who is Roger Schult?

Roger Schult is the founder and operator of "roger schult german audio lab".

The constant search for new unconventional ideas for altering and editing audio signals tirelessly drives him to dive even deeper into this matter.

The foundation stone of his then very young research spirit was laid with the inadequate transmission chain of his parents' stereo system around 1962 in Adelaide (Australia). Quickly this stereo system had become unusable due to its modifications, but fortunately it happened that the resettlement to Germany also brought a new stereo system in house and Roger became a repeat offender, but with a little more success than before.

A little later and with more experience, he has accepted a small job in a Cologne engineering office for ultrasonic technology to finance his mechanical engineering studies.

After a short time, the owner of the office (Egon Gelhard) recognized Roger's obsession with electrical engineering and set up a complete measuring station for him. Nearly 10 years later, around 1985, Roger developed for this office the transmitting and receiving electronics of the sensor of today's ultrasound-assisted parking aid, which can now be found in almost all motor vehicle.

At the end of 1985, the first own company was founded, divided into the sections "Production of electric bass guitars" (manufacturer Krieger & Schult), "Modification of guitar amplifiers" and "Development of audio components".

2004 the development of some guitar amplifiers followed (Röhrensummer and Röhrling).

2005 the development of the 2x 5 band MS-MASTERING-EQUALIZER became elaborated, which then was used as a draft for the Brainworx software project "bx1" by Dirk Ulrich.

Since 2005, the developments have focused on own products under the brand "roger schult german audio lab".
