With a continuously adjustable preamplification range of 26 dB to 76 dB and a switchable attenuation (-20 dB pad) the development of exotic transducers was also taken into account. The unique continuously adjustable impedance by means of the impedance potentiometer (Z) was designed generously from 150 Ohm to 22 kOhm in order to optimize the linear transfer function by changing the load impedance. The impedance mismatch turns this function into a powerful creative tool. The tonal adjustment for the high frequency range takes place via a Baxandall filter, in the mids through a semi parametric equalizer and at low frequencies by means of a high-pass filter. All filter parameters can be changed continuously, i.e. steplessly. An illuminated bypass filter pressure switch is available to check the effect of the set filters. A switchable +48 V phantom power is integrated for the use of microphones with external power supply. In this case, the impedance matching is switched off to a fixed value of 22 kOhm to protect the active sound transducer. The V2376j can be installed in any api 500® environment. High-quality ALPHA ® potentiometers / faders and illuminated push switches from eao ® as well as the gold-plated connection strip guarantee long and trouble-free operation in continuous use.
